Hi! The main differance between the Cd67 and the 709 are that the 709 is MUCH CLEANER. I moded my 67 beyond any I've heard of and it's good. The image of the two is about the same. They both go down low and up high, but the Samsung is cleaner from top to bottom. That brings everything right to you. I don't have to listen in to hear whats going on. Also it never get overloaded with music it can't handle. The 67 was good, and it's hard to beleive it on the shelf collecting dust but it is and after all that work too. Sigh! Last night I player Jessie Cook, WOW! The whole thing was right there for me. Then an old favorite from the seventies, again better than ever before. I find too that even bad recording sound good because your much closer to the source. They can still be @#%& but I still enjoy them as never before. This machine gave me a new stack! bobwire
