Yes. Though I can't compare it to the OPA541 other than in the broader sense of my preference for hybrid designs over monolithic designs (such as the OPA541). I first started playing with power opamps back in the early 90s and I simply don't recall specifically what monolithic chips I had tried back then. I did end up settling on the National LH-0101 hybrid which I was using until about a year or so ago when I switched to the PA-16.
I preferred the hybrid over the monolithic in large part because I could get away with not using any load isolation network on the output or in the feedback loop. The monolithics, because they can't produce high current P-type device on a monolithic substrate, have asymmetrical outputs (like a quasi-complimentary design) which isn't so bad in and of itself, but it makes them less stable into reactive loads. The hybrids use actual discrete semiconductor chips for the output devices to produce a fully symmetrical, complimentary output.
I've been using the LH-0101 and now the PA-16 without any reactive components in the circuit (of course there will be parasitic reactances in every realworld circuit), either in the feedback loop or at the output (either series or shunt) and haven't had any instability problems. But then I haven't driven it into every possible load so I'm sure there are some limits there.
Sorry I couldn't be more specific. Hope this helps though.
