i have some M1s too. though i havent done anything to them myself, i would say you could change the internal wire to good speaker cable, and maybe put better caps in the crossover. However i think upgradi9ng your speakers would give better improvements. the M1s are good for the price but spend 200 to 300 pounds on replacements and you will be impressed.
