Hey there;I am considering placing a Sub woofer amp plate into my passive ACI Sub One's. Speaking to the designer, Mike Dzurko, he says I should use the active X-over in the amp plate, rather than the passive low pass x-over that came with the sub.
I thought that the passive low pass x-over would be the "perfect" x-over to use with my setup, rather than using a "generic" x-over in a amp plate, since it was designed to match the Sattelite speakers (also ACI speakers)
What are your thoughts on the benefits of an active v. passive x-over?
