How good are Carver Ribbons?

I found a guy who is selling a pair Carver Ribbons (Just the ribbon drivers). The price is a bit over $600. I understand the company went under.
What do you t hink of the sound of these ribbons? Do you have any experience with them. Apparently they go down to about 120hz.
