Here's a thought I didn't put in my first reply. Every device that is on the supply voltage wants to think its the onlt device on the supply. You make it think it is by using larger amounts of decoupling. Like I said I like to use 1000uF around all devices, and a .1 just because. Since I began doing this everything I've worked on has gotten better. I never have power supply related problems. It also helps because you unmask other things you didn't know were there before. good Luck, bobwire
