Hi there,If you use Capacitor Input Supplies, the rule is simple. The bigger the Transformer the better the Sound. A German Mag tested recently a CDP that is essentially a modded CD-67 with a hypermassive external PSU (several kilowatt worth of Transformers - no joke mon). This apparently did hugely well.... The Tester thought it better than the Linn CD-12 Sondek (not that I think that much of it).
