Does anyone have insight as to why one Prime Number is better to use than another when designing Quadratic Residue Diffusors. Well width controls the upper frequency cutoff and the well depth handles the lower frequency cutoff. But, I can't find data in the literature that describes the relationship between the Prime Number Basis and frequency response.I suppose that one would use a higher prime number in order to implement a larger QRD for the same well width. But why not just put to Prime 11 diffusors together in-lue of a Prime-19 or Prime-23 QRD.
Thanks for any insight.
