Before you go spending more money, why not have a look at fixing what is wrong in your system. I mean there are things you can do that might take care of things like improved bass that are short of spending a lot of $. I would start with making sure that my speakers are geting all the right signals. If you can try ploting your speaker impedance. It will change some with room and placement so don't relie on spec's. Add a zobel to eack speaker. that will tighten up everything. Next what speaker cable do you use? If it's Monster than it is a Monster! It can suck the life right out of everything you play. Then are you sure your front end has the bass you want? Is it getting lost before it gets to the power amp? if not and your sure it is the power amp then there are things you can do. Have a look inside (under the hood). How much power supply filtering does it have? Can you add more? If yes, then try adding more by placing it right close to the output devices. One cap for each rail Plus and minus. Both channels so four caps. How is the bass now? Four large caps will cost far less than a new amp would. Good Luck, bobwire
