All -Please bear with me, as I'm a gearhead not an electrical engineer (or as my compatriots refer to the profession, "Spark E"s.) I am upgrading parts in an 80W amplifier kit (caps to good film caps, resistors to metal film, etc.) This particular amplifier kit has three caps that are ceramic: 5pf, 20pf, and 68pf. Is there anything better than ceramic caps to use for these extremely small values? Mica? Or does anyone make film caps this small? I know I'm asking a general question for a specific situation. If anyone is interested, I'll e-mail the schematic. Thanks in advance.

- Great idea Thorsten, on that coax cap. Thanks for sharing. (nt) - BrianG 17:40:58 05/29/00 (0)
