I used a General Radio 1650 Bridge to do inductance and resistance measurement. I confirmed the DCR with a Fluke 867B just to be sure.
If you re-read the PS audio newsletter, they did not actually measure the inductance. It was calculated from other data.
As an aside, I measured a Variac (25 Amp) I had sitting around and it measured 95 milli-henries with low DCR.
PS audio(Paul M.)in the power forum claims to have experimented with a huge coil with many joules of energy storage. I wish they would provide more details!
