I've heard good things about this device, supposedly it has the best qualities of both the BJT and MOSFET. Could a IGBT be used as the output driver for an output board containing BJT output devices? Would this be a better device than a regular bipolar output driver device? Does anyone have any experiences/impressions of IGBTs?
