Hi Mike,I just rewired my ET2 with Cardas and like it much better than the original wire with sweeter highs and deeper bass. Unfortunately, I haven't tried any other wire so I'm not sure if there better out there. For the money, I think that this was a good upgrade for me.
My arm tube only had a small piece of foam near the cartridge end. I was able to remove this, pull the wires through, and replace it. I abandoned the factory side connector and ran the wire straight (with some slack to allow arm movement) to the back of the TT where my RCA jacks are mounted.
