Wouldnt replacing a 22000uf power supply cap with a 10000uf, be a step
down. Yes the Cerafines are better caps, but at a lower value they wont filter the rectified AC as well, resulting in a greater ripple in the supposed DC sent to the tubes/SS. I assume thats what these caps are doing?Also, if the Power Supply should be spitting out relatively clean DC, can a capacitor really be more musical in this instance. DC isnt very musical. The only way I could see a power supply filter cap being more musical was if it was providing noisey DC with a greater ripple, which in this case it wouldnt be doing its job, not well any way.
Just my opinion, some one set me straight if Ive really over looked something.
