I think that these are possably "zobels" that filter high frequency garbage out. Most likely a resistor in series with a capacitor, values optimized for it's application. Tipical speaker zobels could be 8-10 ohms in series with .22-.47uf. or on that order. These may have a positive effect, negetive effect or no effect depending on the system and how and where it is used. If anyone rips one apart or knows what these are please post the infromation or "autopsy report".
