I haven't heard either driver but I advise you to follow the golden rule: KISS. The TAD driver supposedly goes to 120kHz, but it is doubtful that you can hear more than 18kHz. I can't imagine what value the additional frequency range could have.Look at this from a design standpoint. With the TAD, you will probably be talking about either a 3-way system or a 2-way that is bass deprived. If you go with a 3-way TAD system, you now have to worry about an extra crossover point and whether the TAD and the Raven R2 (or any other mid-range work together). Note that the Raven R2 will function as a tweeter/mid-range with a lower crossover point than the TAD. Unless I had heard the TAD and just couldn't live without it, I wouldn't use what is in essence a supertweeter like the TAD. It just creates too many design problems with little or no benefit.
Just my .02 cents.
