Somehow this thing should be hardwired directly to a dedicated line and wouldn't it be great and not so difficult to do if we could then hardwire the components? Eliminate plugs and outlets and the resulting interface problems? Even super well done wire nuts would be better than plugs, considering that's what you've probably got in the chain down at the outlet box anyway!I'm thinking that some shielded Belden hardwired straight into the household circuit will be an easy enough experiment. Is there even better power cord raw material?
One concern is mixing digital onto the same line as my amps?? Could a simple grunge filter be installed at the digital component so as to simlify the power chain - that is no bulky boxes/conditioners elsewhere?
