Funny....I had the very same idea after I posted the question. After re-investigating the arm I found that the original hole is pretty chewed up and I fear retapping will require too large a set screw. I'll probe the hole some more and if the innards aren't completely powdered, I think I'll give the retap idea a shot. Fingers crossed!!Thanks for the suggestion.
