Hola. MSB do the modification you want but it cost you about $400.00.For less money, maybe $229.00, you can buy a Pioneer DVD-525 model which it outputs a 24/96 signal from the digital output. I have a Toshiba too and the image is among the best you can find in DVD machines. The sound of the Pioneer, as a transport, is better than the Toshibas, thought. Take in count that what you are looking is better sound reproduction, you need an external DAC to bypass the internal converter of your DVD. All DVD machines reproduce the 24/96 signal through their internal converters but only the Pioneers( and a few other machines)pass the whole signal to the digital output.Go to(www.soundstage.com) and check out the MSB review ( 10/99 and 12/99).
Good luck.
