Yes, I have heard the Perfectionist. It has been probably 25 yrs. ago. A large rascal, I recall. I believe the cost back then was $4000.00. Sounded good as I recall. The Fried H is a smaller implimentation of it. It sounds nice too. It has been about the same time length. It is a classic design as some have noted. From the Speaker asylum posting on Fried's speakers and design ideas seem to be getting into vogue. Especially with his writing for Bound for Sound. Maybe in upcoming articles, he may refer to his TL speakers. Would be interesting, to say the least! It's hard to say if building a TL is for you, with the proliferation of boom boxes. The Fried implimentation of the Perfectionist's, from what I recall gave the stage in the bass a sense of depth that I thought really stood out. I don't recall hearing that quality with some of the new bass systems.
