Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
Well, Marchand had amps on sale a little while ago (months!) and I bought 3 (gonna' triamp...someday), and was happy to find out the power supply board went together rather easily. The question is: should I just build as-is, or should I go ahead with an obvious (to me) tweak -> the power supply caps are connected by big PCB traces, but I think the addition of lengths of solid copper wire or even teflon-coated silver would improve the power-delivery or speed! of the caps section. Also thinking about wiring the whole thing, especially signal wires, with silver. Overkill? Excellent!
