I've heard of people making DIY Symposium Rollerblocks using spoon/ball bearing/ and these pumice stones. I read one such effort (forget where?) that reports good success with this. Never heard of anyone using this as just feet without rollers, but what the heck, they are dirt cheap, so why not try it?
