The esotar tweeter has huge magnets and matched pairs. The esotar midrage is very expensive, matched pairs. The Finale kit uses a Dynaudio passive radiator and one 30w woofer per side. The tweeter is over 4 feet off the ground, not so good.

I think the esotar midrange is not worth the money. Accuton is better and less expensive and offers a larger range of xover points. Orcadesign has a large selection of kit design for DIY at WWW.orcadesign.com. Check out the 'monster' kit, better than Finale.

You might try the MTM kit at Zalytron using a raven tweeter and the Seas mag. cone woofers. Then get an active xover plus sub amp. Use the xover to some large subs such as Focal 15vx(wilson Slam, X-1) or JBL 15 inch subs.

good luck!
