Audiolab is hard to locate on the web for email -- I heard they changed ownership to Tag-Lauren, but they are even more inaccessible.
What I need are replacement lights for the display. Does anyone know who distributes these, or has a part number and/or specs for them?
I took a look inside this unit. All discrete components and two large tin boxes with "Opening voids warranty" labels -- note that measely one year warranty is already expired. Very impressive, that is if you go by component count -- basically, it is completely filled with nicely layed out components.
The lights appear to be hard-soldered and difficult to access with a shroud over them. I can replace the lights and/or wire up my own display back-lighting if necessary.
Any suggestions by those with some experience with this?
