Chris,I've never seen one---but some versions of the 6550C and 6L6GC (I believe) had a getter splash that looked more gold-like. I guess it was the alloy used---at least, this is what I was told.
I don't think that they sounded any better or lasted any longer than the plain non gold-top Svet's.
