Worked on IMPLANTERS, so I'm certainly not scared of high voltages. In fact? 600v is really not that 'high'.
An Implanter used to manufacture semiconductors has a 20,000 volt EXTRACTION than the ions will be accelerated with up to 200,000 volts. Central portion of machine is on ceramic isolators over a foot tall......and when you open it up for service, it is automatically grounded as well as the 'chicken stick' used for additional ground assurance. The transformer under this beast is huge and heavy. Once when delivering such a transformer to a new install, they dropped it THRU THE FLOOR......
so no, 600 v doesn't make me even blink. Should it?
And to answer your question? Yes, probably a push pull amp. Speakers (proposed) are about 95 to 96db sensitive. And with high power handling capacity.
I'm looking at amps from 2x20 (DECWARE) on up to 2x60 (VTA ST120) The 'dynaco' redo is very attractive. VERY quiet (good with such speakers?) and enough power forever. And I can get the KIT and save 300$ or 400$ Looks straighforward with good documentation.....
Too much is never enough
