Good eduaton on 2 of the common 'tube measurables'.

When you request matched tubes? What is 'matched'?

Now, this give rise to one FURTHER question? I remember tube checkers from when I was a kid. Even used one mid-late 70s when I worked at a place that had a HUGE (built thru a wall) GE Calibration Standard XRAY machine. I used it for determinining angles of cut of grown quartz. Don't get me started on THAT.....
But the darn thing malfunctioned and I was the go-to guy wih a SHOPPING BAG of tubes for test.
I don't think I found a bad tube in the lot.

But the Question? Any AFFORDABLE tube checkers available that will chekc THOSE mentioned parameters?
