Here are some additional points. I have been listening to the Amperex 7308’s for the past two years and think they are excellent tubes. At the moment, the 7308’s have lower bass extension compared to the newer 6N1P’s. What pre and post break-in sonic characteristics have you noticed with the 6N1P’s? Did anyone compare the Svetlana 6N1P’s against the Amperex 7308’s and what sonic differences did they notice?
