Hi folks:
I have a question concerning mismatched speaker impedance to tube output tap. Using the 4 ohm tap out of my power amplifier, I would like to run 2.7 ohms (nominal) speaker enclosures. Beside a reduction in volume due to a poorer impedance match to the plates of the output tubes (relative to a 4 ohm load), should I experience any other negative effect? Thanks in advance for the info.
