caution is appropriate with the KR845 - I know somebody loosing four in a row in a reasonably decent Unison Research amp - none lasting more than a few days.

And neither the owner nor me were impressed with the sound.

KR importer apologised, replaced the valves, and at last took them back, citing quality problems.

OK, this was in 2001 - but I still do not trust the product...
