http://www.hifichoice.co.uk/ (it's in their current reviews @ the top of the web page). Their older reviews, on gear that I am familiar with, have been spot on, but the new ones lack detail in comparison. I also owned the Isis (great little speakers for classical as well as smaller scale poplular music). I have not listened to the Kendal's myself, but have noticed that Castle does not seem to have a "house" sound as the different speakers that I have listened to, in their line, all sound quite different. I assume that your in-laws do not want speaker stands, otherwise I would recommend the Castle Richmond (similar to the Isis, but a little fuller and smoother in the upper midrange and probably better for longer listening sessions, though not quite as detailed). If you can, give the 47 Labs OTA cable a try in your system (I use it myself and see no reason to upgrade, it is that good). There has also been mention (in the threads), recently, of some new wonder speaker in the $600 price range, but I cannot recall the name. Think I saw it in the past week or so.
