There is no any sign on these speakers or the boxes that show they are made in China. Actually, there is no "Made in" marked on them at all. I cannot find the spec for their crossover frequencies anywhere, neither from the owner's manual, nor their website.However, these speakers (Emerald) are only available on Amazon.com. I found there are lots of other series of Wharfedale speakers are selling on ubid.com - like Wharfedale monitor 128 for sometimes $29 each. Again, I am curious that I cannot find Wharfedale monitor series at all on their website.
