My personal thoughts ( & that's all they are ) is that it would be too sensitive, especially with that amp for that size room. Except for my living room i'm running low powered tube amps ( NoRH SE9 & Quicksilver mini mites @ 25wpc ) in my small 11x11 bedroom & 12x13 computer room. YMMV.
