Many happy owners with panel (electrostatic or planar) or open baffle speakers which eliminate box colorations.
Also, adding to JE's comments, a friend and audio reviewer recently downsized to a pair of Maggie LRS+ with a carefully placed Hsu subwoofer. He is very pleased with this result.
