Yeah, I'd love to get on a plane, and if I could there would be several speakers I would add, but my health won't allow it. At best I can get in the car and drive to LA to audition the WB's et al. Even that will be a challenge. But it seems that's where my daughter will be competing now, so trips down will be frequent, one in San Diego next week and one in Irvine a couple of weeks after that.
I will take a look at your playlist and see if we have comparable tastes. Mine is currently 4 hours too long. I've got a mix of orchestral, opera, and chamber. Mostly traditional; Mozart, Mahler, Puccini, Bartok, and Sibelius of course. I think the make or break will be the Mahler Symphony no. 2, Mirella Freni's La Boheme, Hannu Lintu's Sibelius Lemminkainen, and John Eliot Gardiner's Don Giovanni.
