I agree with David about referring to the Cardas setup method as something to try. There are other methods there as well.

If you haven't already done so I would recommend checking with Meadowlark about proper toe-in and how far apart, on average, the speakers should be. You might also pay attention to the tilt, forward or backward, of the speakers. I do not know enough about your speakers to tell you how much of a difference that would make. With my Merlin VSM (2-way, front port) all of these things make a great deal of difference to the point that the manufacturer provides a tool to aid in getting the amount of toe-in correct. Those inches make a tremendous difference. I've noticed differences when toeing the speakers in and out fractions of an inch so don't take lightly the difference all of this will make.
