If you were thinking of putting your present drivers into a stiffer enclosure (i.e, replacing the present enclosure), simply adding internal braces could accomplish the same goal. But beware, a stiffer enclosure merely pushes cabinet panel resonances higher in frequency, perhaps into the critical vocal or midrange where you really should not want additional vibration. IOW, playing weekend-EE with loudspeaker design is not for the novice, altho there are plenty of wannabees on the www. Better would be to ask yourself what it is about these particular speakers you do not like (if anything) & THEN deduce if a stiffer enclosure by itself could address those issues.
