The free air resonance of the Snell woofer was around 18Hz. You have to start with a woofer like that to begin with. It has been way too long for specifics information but I do remember this being mentioned. I borrowed a set for a few weeks back in the day. I was used to high sensitivity speakers and these drew me into acceptance of designs which were not above 98dB 1W-1M
