The Carver Amazings are nice speakers but require lots of power...I'm not sure you can get repair parts should you need them either?... They will do 30hz. I have a good buddy that owned the Carvers...they will also play VERY loud.I don't know anything about the Dahlquists, I did own DQ-10's years ago though...40hz bottom for those.
