I have a customer who has paired his Krell 400xi with Focus 688 monitors, and the match is quite good (surprising to me, since I had not been a big fan of the Krell 300iL). I would guess it would be a very good match with the 788...(disclaimer, as obviously I am a Focus Audio dealer...)
