$995 factory direct. This is great little speaker. I can't think of anything better in the sub $1k class new. The cabinet is cast composite so it should be impervious to heat and humidity. The caveats are that these things are heavy (43 lbs each) so shipping could be a bite and I suppose it is at least theoretically possible that the driver surfaces could mildew in extremely humid conditions but that will be true of almost all speakers.
If we are talking Carnatic vocal music or any Indian classical or semi-classical they should work great. They need to be driven hard for at least the first twenty hours to break in the drivers. At lower volumes break in can take a long time.
