Anyone comment on KEF iq3 vs iq5

76.16.23.231

I have a pair of KEF iq3's that I really like for the most part. The mids are great as well as imaging, at least laterally if not a ton front to back and the highs while not the last word in air are plenty good. I listen to primarily Jazz and acoustic type music and it seems the speakers perform best with this type of music. I only wish they had a WEE BIT more body and fullness to the bass region. I actually prefer speakers with a bit of bass rolloff compared to boominess. When a speaker gets thumpy I can't bear to listen to it. My question is would the KEF iq5's provide that little extra roundness to the low end while preserving all the other qualities I like so much in the smaller iq3's. From what I understand, they seem to be the best in the line according to all the reviews. I while back I had a pair of the old Q3's which seemed to have it all but unfortunately I moved to a smaller place and sold them (Darn It). I am now in a 19X13 loft however. I can't seem to find anywhere to get a proper listen to them in the Chicago area. Anyone have any experience with these models? I would hate to mess with something that I am 90% happy with. For the record, rest of system is Denon AVR3805 with Heathkit AA121 stereo tube amp 100% restored driving the front KEF's and Denon driving the KEF center and iq8 surrounds. Usually the tube amps fatten up the midbass region but it seems not enough (Room maybe too big for iq3's?). Any input??
