I've always been a fan of Magnepans. If you can accommodate their placement requirements and do not expect "kick in the stomach" dynamics from them, they do a wonderful job.They do, however, need lots of power if you want dynamics. Decades ago, I ran a pair of MG-IIs . . . with 200 righteous watts per channel, and they sounded excellent.
Check the condition of your pair, if you can, before buying.
