You can buy stock SEAS Excel tweeters from Madisound. Whether or not Joseph Audio modifies them in-house or has a special edition made for them is something only Jeff Joseph might be able to answer. Most of the specs are the same between the two tweeters with the exception of the sensitivity and free air resonance. The Excel (according to the SEAS website) has a sensitivity of 91dB while the Millennium's is 89dB. This means the Millennium used with the stock crossover is going to sound a tad muted compared to the Excel. There may be a slight modification to the crossover "L" pad or series resistor that could correct this but again, Jeff Joseph would be the best person to ask. My gut feeling is this wouldn't be a bolt-in swap.
