Dynaudio Focus 220 impressions?

Have a pair of these on loan for a few days and I am being blown away - just a phenomonal speaker in every way! The bass is deep and resonating but still tight and very punchy. The bass seems to be a function of the speakers and not the room like some others I've demo'd - very controlled. Mids are fantastic, sounds like Tori Amos and her piano are in my living room. Very emotive and rich with no grain or blare. Highs are clear and crisp without sibilance. Soundstage is fairly wide and deep, fills my 12x20x9 room with ease.

So far, these speakers have performed beautifully with any music I've thrown at them - jazz, fusion, rock - even in my far less than perfect room.

And they get loud without breaking up! At 4 ohms and 86 sensitivity, they seem to be a great match for my Adcom setup. Loud enough for even the roudiest of moments.

The cabinets, in rosewood with matt finish are gorgeous and extremely solid... OK thats enough drooling.

Just wondering if there are any Dyn 220 owners out there or anyone with experience with them.

Thanks for your thoughts.

hhmmm... lets see how some Metallica sounds...or maybe Bach...or...
