Adam's are great speakers - both for home and studio. Once you get into the range of the Mp1, many look into the Lipinski L-707s since they are a helluva lot less $ (less bass of course)..also Meyer HD-1 is great and the x-10 exceed the MP1's. Personally, the Adam P22a's are awesome for around 2500 pair and I have used them for home use as well and are just as good but ymmv707 review at http://www.stereophile.com/standloudspeakers/1205lipinski/
