Hi, Just wanted to see if anyone had input on powering the towers with just the amp (Crown 460cl THX certified) or having the receiver going to the speakers as well (Yamaha HTR-5790). There are four banana plugs on the back of the towers (Polk RTi10) and wanted to know if 2 should be connected to the power amp and if the other 2 should be connected to the receiver. And/or if I should connect the amp to my rears (Polk RTi4 bookshelf) because they are not as loud when playing music and movies. Input would be appreciated. Thanks.
