I have heard the ascendants at the Muse Electronics factory. There was a lot to like. Very full sound, typical Avalon soundstaging and craftsmanship. Very detailed. If you like the Avalon sound, I believe that you would like these. They are more full sounding than the Eclipse. Based upon previous Avalon speakers that I have heard, I believe this to be their best value.
