Re: Paradigm PDR-8 or Velodyne CHT-8 for music?

I have a PDR8. It does not go particularly low but then it only has a 8" woofer. I only use it for fun really. It does not get switched on much these days. However, if your speakers do not go down very low it will integrate well. I used it with my B&W CDM1NTs and it was not a good match because the B&Ws went about as deep as the Sub! However, with a set of Alesis Point Sevens which did little under 60hz it sounded great.

The PDR10 for very little more money is very good, deep tight and fast the way a sub should be.
