Dunlavy SC-IV vs. Hales Transcendence 8

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Hello,
IÂ´ve owned a pair of Dunlavy SC-IVÂ´s for a couple of years now, and IÂ´ve been very pleased with the overall sound.
Now I might have a chance to change them to a pair of Hales Transcendence 8Â´s. What IÂ´m looking for is more detail, a bit more weight in the lower registers and a more sparkling treble than the SC-IVÂ´s, but above all I donÂ´t want to lose the "big speaker" sound and dynamics of the Dunlavy when going to the smaller Hales.
Any advice in the matter? All answers greatly appreciated.
